Aura ("we", "us", "our") provides career counselling, a career explorer and short skill courses for students. This policy explains what personal information we handle when you use our website or get in touch, and how we look after it.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. When you use our booking or contact forms, that is typically:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• Details you add yourself — your class or stage, whether you are a student, parent or school, and the message you write to us

Our web host may also record standard technical information such as your browser type and approximate location for security and to keep the site running. We do not use this to identify you.

Why we use it

We use your information to:

• Reply to your enquiry and arrange counselling or a session
• Answer questions about our courses and schedule batches
• Coordinate seminars and partnerships with schools

We reply to every enquiry, usually within 24 hours.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not send marketing you did not ask for, and we do not make calls you did not request.

Cookies & analytics

The site currently uses no advertising or tracking cookies. We may add privacy-respecting analytics (for example Google Analytics) in future to understand which pages are useful. If we do, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent.

How your enquiry is handled

When you submit a form, your message may be delivered to us by email or through a form or scheduling provider. Those providers process the details only to pass your message to us. Where we add such a service, we choose reputable providers with their own privacy safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to help you and to keep a reasonable record of our conversations, after which we delete or anonymise them. If you ask us to remove your information sooner, we will.

You can ask us at any time to:

• See what information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information from our records

Children

Many of the students we help are under 18. If you are, please involve a parent or guardian when you share personal details with us. Parents can contact us about their child's information at any time.
